Issue Summary

On a sub-task Issuetype, the Sprint field is not visible on the new issue view and doesn't contain the Sprint value inherited from the parent task

Environment

• Jira Cloud
• Next-gen Project

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Next-gen Project
2. Create a sub-task Issuetype
3. Add the Sprint field to the sub-task issuetype field
4. Add the Parent task to the current Sprint

Expected Results

• The sub-task Issuetype should show the Sprint field when viewed inherited from the parent task.

Actual Results

• The sub-task Issuetype, doesn't display the field on the new issue view. Going to the old issue view https://<your-instance>.atlassian.net/browse/ABC-123?oldIssueView=true the Sprint field is visible but with an EMPTY value which is not inherited from the parent task

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
