[JRACLOUD-92693] Status in Board Column is not in Order

            Hi everyone,

This is Siddharth from the Jira Software team. This bug is fixed and I confirmed the functionality to be working as expected.

            Sincerely,
            Siddharth

Same issue here... It occurs occasionally that we move issues to the wrong statuses by accident ...

My teammates really would like this.

I'm also having major issues with this - we have a shared PO board, from which we can distribute stories to separate teams. But this is only working when the initial state of an issue which is send to a team is "to do". When I try to order the statuses in the column from which the issues are sent to the teams, the default is always "In progress" even though I've ordered it differently in the board settings... Atlassian, please fix this.

Please fix this, Atlassian. This should be intuitive based on the status order in column management. I feel like you have to try to make this as difficult as it is.

Same, this is super annoying and it seems like an intuitive thing that SHOULD work. Why Atlassian why!

+1 on getting this addressed. Would really like to have the more commonly used statuses at top of column.

Still experiencing this bug after 2 years. Its impacting several of my clients, with different setups, teams still tend to have more than one status in some of their columns, due to the way Jira is designed.

Dear Atlassian do you have any plans on fixing this bug?

We are seeing this in Jira data center 7.13.5. A column has 11 statuses in it and the order under board > configure is different than the order on the actual board.
