Issue Summary
When creating a new project, for example, Jira Service Management, but selecting a different project type under "Share settings with an existing project" (Software project, for example), the project will be created based on the existing select project type instead of the selected template.
Steps to Reproduce
- Select Create Project under the Projects menu
- Select a Jira Service Management Template
- Select "Share settings with an existing project"
- Select the option to "Share settings with an existing project", and select a Jira Software project
The opposite also reproduces this behavior, selecting a Software Teamplate, but selecting the settings from an existing Service project creates a Service project instead of Software.
Expected Results
Create the selected project type, Jira Service Management, with the settings from the existing project (Software).
Actual Results
Create the project type based on the selected existing project instead of the initially selected project type.
Workaround
Select it to share the settings based on the same project type.
