Issue Summary
On the “Jira For Excel” app, missing accessible names for the button available before the “Refresh” button
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the “Jira For Excel” page.
- Using the screen reader, navigate to the mentioned button.
- Listen, no accessible name is provided for the mentioned button.
Screen Recording
Actual Results
When screen reader users navigate onto the mentioned buttons present in the “Color” and “Actions” columns, it is announced empty.
As a result, users of assistive technologies will not be able to understand the purpose or the functionality associated with the button.
Expected Results
Interactive elements must have programmatically defined accessible names so that their functionality is communicated to assistive technology users. In this scenario, use the aria-label attribute to provide an accessible name for the buttons. The aria-label such as "Menu bar” should be used on the mentioned buttons. Make sure that the accessible names signpost the purpose or the functionality of the buttons.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
