FEATURE REQUEST:

Dear Atlassian Team,

my Support colleagues wanted me to ask you for a new feature in "Activity --> Comments":

They would like to have a button for marking the importance of single comments to

important / not important

with the direct effect not important comments to automatically fold in (retract).

The idea came from tickets with a lot of internal and external comments which are often just confirmations and not helping the support progress.

The selection should not be support-agent-related but set for all viewers of the ticket.

I don't know if there is a broader user base who could need that function. In my team it's about 6/10 persons who'd love to have this feature.

(didn't find this topic in open cases neither as in the roadmap, and as far as I searched nothing equal in the community)
