Delete projects from archive

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      We want to give users more time on determining if a project is still needed but, we want to avoid spamming the Jira administrators.

      Currently we first archive a project before we mark it for deletion but, we're unable to delete a project when it's archived. It must first be unarchived, which causes additional e-mails to be send to administrators.

            After some analysis, we've found that this ticket is a duplicate of the request JRACLOUD-75977 – Ability to directly delete archived projects on Cloud

            We would also like to first archive projects and then delete them.  This allows us to retain for our ILM purposes and then purge without having to reactivate/restore an archived project.
