We suggest the addition of a feature in Jira Software to allow users to choose custom colors for card representation. Currently, distinguishing between colors in the existing palette challenge, especially for individuals facing difficulty with certain color ranges.

Trello already offers a more distinguishable color selection with markings designed for colorblind-friendliness, we kindly request the implementation of a similar feature in Jira Software. This enhancement seeks to create a more inclusive user experience by accommodating individuals with color blindness. 

As illustrated in Trello, an exemplary functionality we currently lack in Jira is the ability to enable or disable colorblind-friendly mode through the labels menu on a card or the board itself. 

• Using colorblind friendly mode

You can enable colorblind friendly mode by entering the labels menu on a card or the board itself and clicking Enable colorblind friendly mode. Conversely, you can disable colorblind friendly mode by clicking Disable colorblind friendly mode.
