Issue Summary
This problem is described in the documentation Unable to assign Priorities to Card Colours in Jira Software Board
If there is an incorrect string configured as the status_color value stored in the database for the priority table, the board fails to load when you set the card layout based on the priority.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Jira settings > Issues > Priorities
- Add a new priority and in the field Priority Color set the color name instead of the color hex; "Red" for example
- Access one of your boards and access Board settings > Card colors
- Select Priorities in Colors based on
Expected Results
The priority creation warns you that you're using an invalid value or the board works as expected
Actual Results
The error "Internal Server Error" is displayed
Workaround
- Go to Jira settings > Issues > Priorities and adjust the color of the created priority using the hex code of the color
