Thanks for your feedback and comments, the JIRA team is working hard to improve the product and we are aware of the many requests here on jira.atlassian.com

We understand that this is a significant issue for many of you, however we cannot provide any guidance at this time as to when, or if, we'll be implementing it.

      Kind regards,
      Martin

      Summary

Earlier today I learned that non-working days is registered per board in Jira Agile instead of in one place as it was with Greenhopper (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/212326/how-does-jira-agile-consider-non-working-days).
We have several boards, and this basically means that I have to register the same X number of non-working days on every board we have in Jira around new years every year.
It would be great to have the possibility to copy these days from one board to another (or perhaps have a general configuration for this that will be adopted for all boards by default), just to remove the work and the possibility of loosing out on one/picking the wrong one, etc.

I would also like this feature such that I can set all days in the week as working days personally for me for all projects across the Jira instance.

This would be a really useful feature. As the number of projects increases, manually changing every board becomes prohibitively time-consuming.

I am the sole active administrator for 65 active client projects, many with multiple boards, and roughly 35 more internal projects. Our organization's normal days off are the same for all projects.

It is ridiculous for me to manually change ~150 boards, adding 11 individual days that I can only access via the calendar (no typing!) to each one.

I'm estimating it takes ~3 minutes per board, including loading time and getting back to the Boards list, and assuming no mis-clicks on my part, to update each one. That is a FULL DAY of work, and it's ludicrous.

I should be able to set non-working days globally. I like the idea that a particular team or project may have additional days off, but the basic set should be manageable by admin, along with time zone and working days.

I think we need a "Non Working Days' sprint...

Another six year old bug for a feature that would be really really useful.... sigh.

Any word on this?  It seems like a very easy global addition and a lot of manual work for those with multiple projects and boards across the organization.

This would be highly useful, I have several boards across two teams and resource shared between them. I want to set additional non-working days (such as bank holidays) for all boards.

This would prevent me using Jira portfolio as well (unless it all integrates nicely)

Also can we have feature to set working days alternatively. Like in one of My project team members work every alternate saturday i.e They additionally work on every First and third Saturday in addtion to normal 5 days work.
Can such feature also be included when atlassian decide to implement this feature?
            Thanks

For those that are interested and a little Perl savy, I threw together a quick script to update all my boards at once. It works great in my environment but I'm not responsible for yours. I suggest you use a test board before you run it on your live boards.
