      Update 25-06-2024

The new board view rolled out in the enhanced board and backlog update at the end of 2023 includes this feature.

It is possible to show 50+ quick filters as buttons at the top of the board by activating the Quick filters toggle under View settings now, there is no set limit on this option anymore.

      Issue Summary

When there are more than 30 items in a quick filter list, the quick filter UI changes from all items being displayed directly to a drop down list selector. Can we make this a configurable number since larger screens will allow for more than 30 filters to be displayed without any issues.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to a company managed project in Jira that uses Scrum boards
      2. Navigate to the Active sprints view on the Scrum board
      3. Edit the Board Settings and select Quick Filters
      4. Add atleast 31 different quick filters for users to choose from
      5. When you click on the Quick filters dropdown, it now displays a searchable list instead of all the items which users can just click on

      Expected Results

Quick filters items are displayed as boxes that users can select

      Actual Results

Quick filters items are now displayed as a drop down list

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
