Create a way to give 'Manage Sprint' permission while having complex query on board for a project

      Definition

      Currently, as explained in Using Manage Sprints permission for advanced cases it is not possible to give a single user or a group 'Manage sprint' permission on sprints that are created in board with complex queries on company-managed software projects. The user must have 'Manage sprint' right on all issues included in the sprint.

      This situation is specifically challenging if the site has more than 100 projects and projects are being created/deleted regularly.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide a way to give 'Manage sprint' permission on specific projects without giving this permission on all issues that are included in the sprint.

       

      Workaround: 

      Grant the user Jira admin permissions, this overrides the Manage sprints permission.
