Problem Definition
For issues in one project that are in sprints for a different projects, users are able to see all the sprints from all the projects from backlog.
When going to Roadmaps, they only see sprints from one project board. 

Note: This expected behaviour,  roadmaps are intended for a single team, working on a single board. 

Concerns:
User gets inconsistent and/or unexpected behaviour without any clear guidance about reason or what to do.

• I would prefer to get consistent and expected behaviour (show in timeline same sprints as on backlog)
• If that is not possible then we should at least notify user why something is different and how to fix it (i.e. by UI hints)

Work around:
Premium Plan has Advanced Roadmaps  with this feature which will show sprints from multiple projects.

Ask:Better messaging on the timeline page to inform users about the reason for certain sprints missing from the timeline they see on the backlog.
