Feature Request: make possible to select the default value for Update Parent Issue action, when all Sub-Task are Done. Note: This pop-up only appears on the scrum boards of company-managed Jira Software projects.
In my current Jira Cloud workflow, I have 2 final states for Story/Bugs: "Discarded" and "Done".
I would like to have the chance to set the default value among those two for the "Update Parent Issue" action, triggered when all Sub-Tasks are set to Done.
Currently, the default value is "Discarded", but it's not really convenient, since in almost all cases when the Sub-Tasks are set to Done, the natural and correct Parent Issue Update should set the parent Story/Bug to "Done".
This change request aims to address the present annoying operation to manually change every time the parent status transition, by being able to define a default value (in my case "Done").
Eventually, as temporary workaround, could you please investigate if the present default value is determined by the status IDs?
In my Project I have the following:
- Done ➟ ID = 10002
 - Discarded ➟ ID = 10802
Meaning: is the present default value set to the first final status, ordered by ID DESC?
