Issue Summary
The field "Parent" is not showing on the Issue View and Issue Create screens when the associated project is configured with a newly created field configuration.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new field configuration
- Add the field configuration to an existing field configuration scheme for a specific issue type.
For example, use the new field configuration for "Task" issue type but use an old field configuration for "Story" issue type. - Go to a project which uses the field configuration scheme from step 2.
- Add the field "Parent" to the relevant screen for the "Story" issue type
- View or create a "Story" issue that uses that screen
Expected Results
The "Parent" field appears on the field list.
Actual Results
The "Parent" field does not appear on the field list.
Workaround
- Use the breadcrumb to view/change parent.
- OR reach out to Atlassian Support and request a temporary opt-out of the Parent field feature. It will be automatically re-enabled for you once this bug is fixed.
