Currently, it is only possible for issues to depend on other issues.

But if we cannot begin development on Feature A until version 1.2 is released, the only way for me to represent that in my Advanced Roadmaps plan is to create issues that represent releases. This creates confusing redundancy and extra work for anyone planning product development timelines.

Please make it possible for releases to stand in as a dependency for issues and other releases in Advanced Roadmaps.
