As a user, I would like for the Gantt chart to automatically change the end date based on the duration set whenever I change the start date.

Workaround

As a workaround, if the task is correctly configured with the duration, you can click at the middle of the bar and drag it to keep the duration:

However, if you click and drag at the beginning of the bar, it will keep the end date and reduce the duration.
