Summary
Issues that have been transitioned into a "Closed" status (Closed, Done, Completed, etc) but do not have a Resolution set, do not show on their Portfolio Plan even with the Plan configured to show "Open and Completed Issues"
Environment
- Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a workflow transition that transitions an issue to a "Closed" status but does not set the Resolution Field
- Associate the Project to a Plan by either using the Project or the Project's Filter as the Plans Issue Source
- Transition an issue to the "Closed" status
- Set the Plans view to show "Open and Completed Issues" (More > Status)
Expected Results
All Open and Closed Issues appear
Actual Results
Closed Issues that do not have a Resolution set do not show on the Plan
Notes
The issue may be in a Status of "closed" however in JIRA, this issue is not seen as Completed; if and only when the Resolution Field is populated is an Issue considered done.
Workaround
Set the Resolution Field on these "Closed" issues: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+Issues+Need+a+Resolution
The "Closed" issues should reappear on the Plan as long as the "Open and Completed Issues" Status View filter is selected.
