Issue Summary
Advanced Roadmaps allow users to set date custom fields as start and end dates options in the plan, but if the context field isn't set to use "Any issue type", the field cannot be used in Advanced Roadmaps and the message "Make sure to add this field to all the issues sources of this plan" is displayed next to the field.
Steps to Reproduce
- Access Jira and click Jira settings > Issues > Custom fields
- Click on Create custom field
- Select the Date picker option and click on Next
- Type a name to the field, let's say "Start date" and click on Create
- Set the field to the desired screens and click on Update
- In the custom fields page, locate the field Start date and next to it click more(...) > Contexts and default values
- Click on Edit context
- Under Choose applicable issue types, select all the options but leave the option Any issue type unselected
- Click Modify
- Access an existing plan (or create a new one using the project containing this custom field created)
- Click on Plan settings (gear icon) > Configure > Scheduling
- In the Start date options menu under * Dates*, try to select the Start date option related to your custom field
Expected Results
You can select the custom field you've created
Actual Results
The custom field you've created is greyed-out and the message "Make sure to add this field to all the issues sources of this plan" is displayed next to the field
