      Problem Definition

Users are unable to have floating capacity based on individuals capacity.

      Suggested Solution

Add the ability to schedule plans based on users capacity

      Workaround

Use 1 member per team that way by setting the capacity for a team, this would translate to an individual

Unable to use the capacity without this. It's not only about capacity per team member but also with different capacity accross the sprints.

I work with members across multiple teams with very different backgrounds and availability. We need to see each individual member's capacity to ensure members aren't overloaded and to see when team members are on PTO for our project planning.

I work in video game dev. The lack of ability to assign an individual to an issue in advanced roadmaps causes a major issue for my planning resources are highly specialised, so rarely do I have more than one resource than can work on a collection of issues or tasks. Each tasks needs to be allocated to a specific resource. So please reimplement the ability to assign an individual to an issue so I can use Advanced Roadmaps and Auto Schedule.

Also, please implement the ability to assign sub-tasks to individual resources. Currently sub-tasks are forced to be assigned to the same resource as the corresponding Story. Most stories require work from multiple resources including resources from different disciplines. At least in vide game dev. Thanks.

We would also love to be able to add PTO and similar non-issue time to our Plan. It would be helpful to show the overall points capacity for team member as well as available points per sprint.

Individual Capacity with auto-scheduling was available before version 9. Please don't disable Live Plans until recreating all features (ie. "Set target dates from calculated" , Individual Capacity) in the latest version.

Atlassian removed the Individual Capacity features and the "Set target dates from calculated" algorithm and went to this very opaque and mushy Team based capacity (weekly hours for the whole team?!) and dates calculation that schedules many tasks on the same day and doesn't work for our needs.

The Individual Capacity and the "Set target dates from calculated" algorithm worked fine.

Please bring the old Individual Capacity features and the "Set target dates from calculated" algorithm/calculation to the new product.

Team membership and therefore velocity can change based on allocation of individuals to different teams / projects on a sprint-by-sprint basis. It's a fools paradise estimating a roadmap based on a team's (previous) velocity. What matters is estimates based on the resource availability in the future.
