Issue Summary
The "Remaining Time Estimate" report in the Burndown Chart usually includes the remaining estimated time for subtasks.
However, if the following conditions are met, the remaining estimated time for subtasks is not included in the report.
- The parent task is "in-progress" at the end of the sprint.
- None of the items in the subtask are being updated when starting the new sprint.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a CMT Scrum project.
- Turn on "Time Tracking" in "Configure Board."
- Create tasks and subtasks.
- Set the "Original Estimate."
- Start the sprint.
- Move the parent task to "In Progress."
- Complete the sprint.
- Move the incomplete tasks to the new sprint and start it.
Expected Results
The "Remaining Time Estimate" report in the Burndown Chart includes the remaining estimated time for subtasks in newly started sprints.
Actual Results
The "Remaining Time Estimate" report in the Burndown Chart does not include the remaining estimated time for subtasks that meet the above conditions.
Workaround
We have confirmed that if the Original Estimate for a subtask is updated at the start of a sprint, it will be included in the "Remaining Time Estimate" report of the Burndown Chart.
This issue can be avoided by using an automation rule that forcibly updates subtasks at the end of a sprint.
