Summary

Currently completed issues (issues whose statuses are mapped to the board's last column) are hidden from the backlog before the sprint starts.

That might make it make confusing for users when don't see issues they expected to see in the backlog. They might be in a scenario where those issues had to be assigned to the new sprint but can't transition them back.

Make it possible to see completed issues in the backlog before the sprint starts.
