Request for Release Management Capabilities

      New Request for Release Management

      On the Release Entity we would like the ability to track the following information:

      1. Name of Release
      2. Planned Start Date of the Release
      3. Actual Start Date of the release
      4. Planned End Date of the Release
      5. Actual End Date of the Release
        1. Right now when we close out the release, if the planned date was 1/1/2023 and we closed it out on 3/1/2023 the release date gets updated to 3/1/2023 and does not allow us to show that it was 2 months late
      6. Description of the Release
      7. Scope Lock Date
      8. Code Freeze Date
      9. Release Testing Planned Start Date
      10. Release Testing Actual Start Date
      11. Release Testing Planned End Date
      12. Release Testing Actual End Date
      13. Have the ability to enter in the Estimated Total Hours associated to said release, or have that data value be rolled up and entered
      14. Show the Completed Hours to date
      15. Show the Remaining Hours to Date
      16. Ability to enter in the Capacity Estimate for the release
      17. Ability to track Capacity Remaining which would be calculated by tasking the Capacity Estimate minus Remaining Hours, if value is negative there should a red flag indicator that the release is at risk

      Release Name is the Fix Version/s name from Jira Comes from the Release entity in Jira Start Date Comes from the release entity in Jira Scope Lock Comes from the release entity in Jira Code Freeze 45 Sum of Estimated Original Hours for the issues committed prior day prior to scope lock Total sum of issues in a Ready for validation, In validation, Ready for Release, or Released status assigned to said release Obtain the Total Sum Original estimated hours of issues in a status of To Do, In Development, Code Review that are assigned to said release and perform the following calculation. Estimated Total Hours - Completed hours is obtained from a data element within the release entity called Capacity Estimate is calculated by taking Capacity Estimate minus Remaining Workload. If the value is a negative number, there should be a red flag indicator stating that the release is at risk

      What we currently have: I have not been able to find a way to add more data to this Release screen.
