Background:
We currently use sub-tasks (of parent of a story or issue) to manage our Kanban board.
The allows us to assign sub-tasks to different people, while maintaining all the sub-tasks associated to the parent task.
In some cases, we can have up 10 minor tasks.
Problem:
When we move the parent and sub-tasks to the "ready to work" column, other parent tasks appear to get lost in the list.
This is because we are using cards to represent each parent and sub-tasks which takes a lot of space in the "ready to work" column.
Suggestion:
Could you please add a button or icon to parent tasks with sub-tasks so that we can collapse the sub-tasks below it?
When a user clicks on this button the sub-tasks listed below the parent task are hidden and the state of the button or icon used to collapse the sub-tasks changes so that you know the sub-tasks are in collapsed mode.
This would be very useful to our team and I'm sure others.
By the way, we know we can filter by parent issue.
However, we would like something that it is intuitive and baked into your application.
Thank you.
