In kanban, you still story point and target versions.
Provide reports similar to what is provided for a sprint. You should still be able to show a version report that shows story points burned and targeted for the version; unestimated stories, etc.

You can also create a similar report for kanban if you allow the user to input from/thru dates.

Provide the associated gadgets to display the same thing on jira dashboards and confluence pages for reporting.
