Issue Summary
The option "Open issues in sidebar" is inconsistent when changing from Backlog to Board.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to your board > View Settings > make sure your Open issues in sidebar option is TOGGLED OFF.
- Click on an issue on the board, it will open a modal (expected).
- Go to the backlog and open an issue.
- It will open in the sidebar (expected).
- But now go back to your board > View Settings > your Open issues in sidebar option will be TOGGLED ON.

Expected Results
Since we haven't updated that feature by toggling it, it should remain off and our issues will still open in modal on the board.
Actual Results
When you come back from the backlog view, your issues will open in the sidebar.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
