Summary

When a pull request in merged in Github, unless there is a commit done, the Development field in JIRA is blank.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create pull request in Github and link to JIRA Issue by referencing the Issue key. This will add a pull request to the Development panel of the Issue and the Development field will be seen as UNDER REVIEW
   
2. Merge the pull request
   

Expected Results

The Development field is seen has MERGED

Actual Results

The Development field is blank

Workaround

By adding a commit, reverting the merge and then merging back the pull request, the Development field gets updated to MERGED as expected.
