Currently, there isn't a way to create a custom filter to filter out issues within a team managed project roadmap and the only filters available are the quick user filters at the top. Allowing the custom filters created within the project settings > Board section to be used within the roadmap would be extremely helpful and shouldn't have any negative impact, since the filters are only active if a user enables them.
