Issue Summary

In the new transition experience, we’ve observed that adding the Fix Version field to the transition screen causes the dropdown to display released versions first, rather than the unreleased versions.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable the new transition experience in your personal settings.
2. Navigate to your workflow.
3. Add a transition screen.
4. Include the Fix Version field on the transition screen.
5. Publish the workflow.
6. Transition the issue.
7. Notice that the dropdown displays released versions at the top.

Expected Results

The unreleased versions should appear at the top of the dropdown, ensuring consistency with the behavior of the Fix Version field on the issue screen.

Currently, the dropdown prioritizes released versions, requiring users to scroll to the bottom of the list to access the unreleased versions.

Workaround

Switch back to the old experience.

1. In Jira, select your profile picture or initials, then select Personal settings
2. Scroll down to Jira labs and switch the toggle OFF for the New issue transition experience
