      Issue Summary

In Jira Cloud, if the Description field or any multi-line text field, is using Wiki Style renderer then users can't copy & paste when the text has a bullet list with numbered items.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. In a Jira issue, go to the Description field or any Multi-Line text field.
      2. Ensure that the renderer for this field is set to "Wiki Style renderer" in the Field Configuration of the project.
      3. Add the following sample text in the Description field or the Multi-Line text field:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.

          • 1. Aenean ornare in risus a laoreet. Integer ante elit, pretium in euismod sed, pretium quis velit. Morbi velit diam, vulputate vel tellus at, imperdiet egestas lectus.
          • 2. In sagittis euismod erat eu euismod. Praesent sodales lobortis enim. Proin at ligula varius, consectetur lectus sed, ultrices justo.
          • 3. Ut tempor dictum bibendum. Mauris porttitor quis velit a lacinia. Praesent ante nulla, suscipit vel urna at, pellentesque feugiat est. Suspendisse potenti. Integer at varius velit.

Sed mattis arcu quis dapibus dignissim.

Note that the numbers on the bullets are just numbers and not a numbered list formatting.

      1. Save the content in the field.
      2. Now try to copy the text and try to paste on another Jira issue's Description field

      Expected Results

Users should still be able to paste the content recently copied.

      Actual Results

Nothing happens when you try to paste it.

      Workaround

      1. Change the bullet list to a numbered one
        OR
      2. Change the characters following the numbers. E.g. "1- " instead of "1. "
        OR
      3. Remove the numbers from the bullet points.
