Currently, the new CSV import method under Settings > System > External System Import (New Jira import wizard) does not have any options to map the field values.

In the old importer, there's an option to manually map the values for the fields.

 

This helps to avoid introducing unwanted duplicates, or translates options from one system to the Jira project setup.

 

It is important for the feature to be available on the new import method before the old method is deprecated.

Workaround

• "Switch to the old experience" and continue using previous options (CSV/json)
