Issue Summary

When trying to bulk operation on multiple issues (250+, 500+ or 1000+), it is possible to hit a 504 gateway timed-out error.

Steps to Reproduce

• Use JQL or basic search to retrieve 500+ issues
• Perform bulk operation and select all issues in Step 1
• In Step 2, choose any operation (Bulk edit or bulk transition for example)

Expected Results

The bulk operation proceeds to Step 3 without timing out

Actual Results

The page loads for 1 minute and eventually hits a 504 gateway timed-out error.

Workaround

Update fewer issues at a time or use the API for bulk operations: Issue Bulk Operations
