Issue Summary

Several customers have had an issue where they try to unlink a parent issue from a child using either the breadcrumb or the parent field, and it appears removed, but on refresh it reappears as before. In the issue history, they see only the “Epic Link” or “Parent Link” as removed, but not the “Parent”. 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a Jira issue with Parent field set
2. Try removing the parent issue by clearing the parent field, OR using breadcrumbs > Unlink parent.
3. The Parent issue reappears after refreshing the page.

Expected Results

The Parent issue should be un-linked from the issue and the issue history should show the entry for both the Epic/Parent Link and the Parent edition.

Actual Results

The Parent issue reappears after refreshing the page.

Workaround

Currently the only workaround is to the link the Jira issue to a different epic/Parent and then unlink the Parent.
