Issue Summary
Currently, the Issue Security, Notification, and Permission Schemes are not displayed in any particular order. Additionally, when attempting to change one of these schemes, the dropdown list also lacks any discernible order, mirroring the unordered presentation on the scheme configuration page.
This makes it difficult to manage multiple schemes, as you have to scroll through an unsorted list to find the correct one.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create multiple schemes of these types with different names starting with various letters of the alphabet.
- Observe that they are not displayed in any specific order on the scheme configuration page (under Jira Settings > Issues).
- Edit a project and attempt to switch schemes from the project settings. Notice that the schemes are presented in the same unordered manner (not alphabetically).
Expected Results
Schemes should be consistently ordered alphabetically across different pages of Jira, including in dropdown lists for selection.
Actual Results
Schemes are not ordered.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
