Issue Summary

Users attempting to create a new issue in Jira from a Microsoft Form submission via Power Automate using the Create a new issue (V3) connector are facing connectivity issues. The error message "Unable to parse Jira configuration. 'projects' are empty. More diagnostic information: x-ms-client-request-id is 'B09D9493-14C4-4578-9752-5ED599A87466'" is displayed, indicating a failure to connect to the specified Jira project.

This is reproducible on Data Center: No (This is specific to Power Automate's Jira Cloud Connector, not a Jira Data Center instance.)

Steps to Reproduce

Step 1: Set up a Microsoft Form for submissions that should create a new issue in Jira.

Step 2: Use Power Automate to create a flow that triggers on Microsoft Form submission and uses the Create a new issue (V3) action within the Jira Cloud connector to create an issue in the Jira project AGCOMM.

 Expected Results

Upon a form submission, a new issue should be successfully created in the specified Jira project (AGCOMM) without any errors.

Actual Results

At this time, specific log file details or exceptions have not been provided. It's recommended to check the Power Automate or Jira Cloud logs for more detailed error messages or exceptions related to this issue.

The flow fails to connect to the Jira project, and the user is presented with an error message: 

"Unable to parse Jira configuration. 'projects' are empty. More diagnostic information: x-ms-client-request-id is 'B09D9493-14C4-4578-9752-5ED599A87466'." 

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. It is suggested to review the project configuration in Jira to ensure that there are no required fields of complex data types that could be causing the issue, based on the known limitations of the Power Automate Jira Cloud connector. A workaround will be added here when available.
