Bulk updating an Assets Objects field on 250+ issues throws an error

      Issue Summary

Attempting to bulk update an Asset Objects field on 250+ issues throws a "Page unavailable" error

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to Filters > Advances issue search
      2. Perform a JQL search that returns over 250 issues
      3. Click the three-dotted icon on the top-right corner of the screen and then on "Bulk change all X issues"
      4. Select all issues
      5. Select the Edit operation
      6. Click "Next"

      Expected Results

You're able to finish the bulk operation and all issues are edited to have the defined value on them

      Actual Results

The page hangs in a "loading" state until a "Page unavailable" error is shown. Considering the Asset Cloud App EOL date, many users may face this bug in the coming weeks while migrating from the Standalone app into JSM Premium's Assets.

      Workaround

      • Perform bulk changes in smaller batches (ie 150 Issues or less)
      • Update the issues via External System Import

This is really disappointing to find an issue reported last week is an outstanding issue going back to 11th February 2022 - what is the latest on this?
The suggested workaround is too time consuming and causing issues.
