Hi,
The behaviour described here is expected behaviour. Thanks to the feedback here and left directly in the Issue Search experience, we now understand that the current sizing takes up too much space for instances where the content of the field is usually very short. We have released an adjustment that slightly reduces the width of long and short text columns to help improve the interface while we work on a more holistic solution.
To prevent duplicates, we will track the future work on this feature suggestion: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-6034
