Issue Summary
Search results don't respect the configured "Number of Issues displayed per Issue navigator page".
Steps to Reproduce
- On an instance where the New Issue Navigator has been enabled, go to <your site name>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/ViewUserDefaultSettings.jspa and set "Number of Issues displayed per Issue navigator page" to 100
- Step 2 go to a save filter that returns more than 100 issues.
- Observe that only 50 issues appear on the page.
Expected Results
I can't find any public documentation of this feature to verify but it seems self-explanatory enough. The number of tickets returned by a search should reflect the number configured in the "Number of Issues displayed per Issue navigator page" seeting.
Actual Results
Make 50 issues are returned per page, regardless of configuration
Workaround
1 - Roll back to the old search experience by following the steps below:
- Go to your issue navigator page - https://<yoursitename>.atlassian.net/jira/settings/issues/new-issue-search-transition
-
- Click on the three dots icon in the top-right corner
- Go back to the old search
OR
2 - The new search experience does not split the displayed issues in pages. That being said, if you scroll down the issue navigator page, the next 50 issues of the search start being displayed together with the previous amount (50, 100, 150, 200, etc), allowing you to display a higher number of issues, as in the GIF below:
