Customers don't have compass, it hasn't been added to their site, and they have no plans on getting Compass, yet this "Switch to Compass Components" feature is still made available in Jira projects.

It will be a constant issue that any user with project admin access can click the shiny new button that breaks their workflow and stops them from being able to create new issues in the project because they have the project screen set to require component field and in this case there was no components to choose from. Again, because we do not use Compass.

On top of that, there seems to be no way to find who activated the Compass option in the components.

Please add the ability to disable/remove this option entirely from projects and/or sites.
