Issue Summary
Introduce a dividing line between consecutive comments in New Issue view and also make the line spacing similar to Jira Server's Comment section.
Currently when we compare the Comments or the large text fields like the Description field of Jira cloud instance with that of Jira Server instance, then we will notice the below differences:
- There is a dividing line between comments on the server
- Distances between commentator and content are larger
- Proportions (e.g. font sizes) are better chosen
In order to bring parity in the UI experience of Jira Server & Jira Cloud, please bring back the line dividing the consecutive comments. Also, reduce the space between two lines, especially when Bullet\Numeric points are used.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create consecutive comments in a Jira issue in Jira cloud.
- Also, write multiple lines in bullet points in the comments of a Jira issue.
Expected Results
- There should be a line dividing two consecutive comments, making it easier to read the comments.
- The spacing between each line in bullet points or consecutive lines needs to be reduced.
Actual Results
- There is no line dividing two consecutive comments, making it difficult to differentiate two comments.
- The spacing between each line in bullet points or consecutive lines are more, making it difficult to differentiate between a heading and the content of the heading.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
