Summary:

• The customer would like to have a validator on the cascading field (parent & child) to allow or deny transition based on the values specified in the cascading field both parent and child field.

Expected Behaviour:

• The customer should be able to use the workflow validator on both parent and child cascading fields.

Actual Result:

• Currently, there is no way to put a workflow validator on both the parent and child fields.

Workaround:

• Customers can use the JMWE plug-in  https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWEC/overview to configure a workflow validator on the cascading field.
• Also, can try automation that will transition the issue to the desired state based on the value specified in the parent and child field.
