Issue Summary
Unable to edit Issue Type Description or Avatar. It gives the error 'An issue type with this name already exists' when you edit the Description or Avatar and click the Update button.
This is reproducible on Cloud: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Select
> Issues.
- Click Issue types.
- Find the relevant Issue Type and click Edit.
- Edit the Issue Type Description or Avatar, and click Update.
Expected Results
It should update the Issue Type after clicking Update.
Actual Results
After clicking Update, it gives the error 'An issue type with this name already exists' as shown in the below screenshot.
Workaround
In addition to editing the Issue Type Description or Avatar, also edit the Issue Type Name to any temporary value. It will let you update the Issue Type without any error. Edit the same Issue Type again, change the Name to the previous value and click Update. It will let you update the Issue Type which will revert the Name to the previous value.
