When a user updates their Atlassian Account and sets their preferred language to another language (for ex: Korean) the default system statuses are always translated into Korean. The user has no way to retain these to be displayed in English.

Note that some statuses are translated while others aren't. Currently, there is no way to ensure all statuses are displayed in English even if status translations are setup since this is a team-managed project. A few possible ways to address this,

1. Regardless of the account language settings, certain statuses are not translated by default.
2. When the account language settings are changed to a different language, apply the translation settings for the statuses.
3. Alternatively, it would be good if there was an option for project-specific translations managed by the team.
