Issue Summary
Editing issue layout and other Project setting pages results in an error if the user does not have Browse projects permission
Steps to Reproduce
- As a site admin, edit the permission scheme of your project so only a specific project role has the Browse Projects permission.
- Go to the Issue layout and then try to edit any layout.
Expected Results
The layout edit page opens
Actual Results
An error appears: "Something's gone wrong
We couldn't load this issue type page. Try refreshing the page."
Note:
- This seems to be due to a recent change, as it was reported that it was not happening before with the same configuration.
- This also seems to affect other pages in the Project settings, like the Apps > Slack integration page which shows an empty blank page if the user does not have the Browse projects permission.
Workaround
Add the user to the browse projects permission.
