Our team members are confused about some menu entries, we and they don‘t need. They are space consuming (some of the team members work on iPads and there the project menu consumes the whole space in landscape view) and - as Nick mentioned - we would need to provide own menu entries that are used frequently instead of unneeded ones.

This feature ist highly wanted to get a lot more flexibility in our workflow.

Howdy! As an administrator, the ability to hide these top level menu options would be very helpful for me. In my environment, we have a limited amount of admin resources (read:me ) and often take a phased and incremental approach to rolling out new functionality to our user base. As it is now, people find and ask about menu items for features we might not be ready to enable or provide support for, which doesn't make anyone happy!
