When a workflow contains Workflow Steps with the same name, the Diagram of that workflow will highlight each status/step after that as an error, indicating: There are no incoming transitions to this status

In most cases, Jira Cloud will prevent multiple steps with the same name. However, when this happens the error should be more clear, such as:

• There are two workflow steps with the same name
• or This workflow is misconfigured due to multiple steps with the same name
