      User Problem

For customers having HIPPA enabled on their Jira instance but email notification still on, changes were introduced on the scope of HIPAA Redacted Notifications.

When clicking on the link from the new notifications email after HIPAA related changes, it's not possible to say what actually changed, because the actual (new) information is displayed only, e.g:

      • A customer having HIPAA enabled on their Jira instance but email notification on, receives a notification about changes on the description field of an issue.
      • The new redacted notification template will show who made the changes and on which field (description) and a link is provided to check the changes directly in Jira.
      • The issue where the changes happened is opened but you can see the current content on the description field and there is no visual hint on what was changed.

      Suggested Solutions

It would be great if possible to see (highlight?) the new information added or a diff with old information (in case removed) that in the issue when clicking the link from the notification, or add the overview of the changes in a more user-friendly way in the issue's history section.

      Current Workarounds

A workaround for this specific scenario would be checking the issue history by clicking on the All tab in the issue but the information there is not "user friendly".
