      Problem Definition

When performing a CSV Import, the only issue links that can be created are in the form of Outward Descriptions (eg. X blocks Y). However, there is no way to link in the form of Inward Descriptions (eg. X is blocked by Y). This is a hassle for users who wants to import new issues through CSV that have inward description links to existing issues.

      Suggested Solution

Allow the user to pick whether the new links formed are in the form of Outward or Inward Descriptions.

[JRACLOUD-82007] CSV Importer should allow user to choose to import Issue links as Outward or Inward Description.

Hi! A project work with predecessors in a CSV, but I cant import to Jira because you dont allow to use Blocked By

If you think like a business, why I would know who I block intuitive?

Normally we create the predecessors and not the futures issues That I block

If we gonna use Import from another tool, maybe need blocked by because is the normal way, please create this option

Sorry to place an internal ticket here, it was a mistake. I don't have any findings just yet.

Looking forward to see this feature soon in production.  How much longer will it take under this current stage 'under consideration"? Any idea?

This would be really nice!! I just imported some issues with lots of links that needed to be inwards.

You can go Export > Printable which will generate you the table. Than just copy it and paste into Excel - you will have what you need.

This would be perfect! Any workarounds on this so far?
