Description
Issue Summary
When attempting to Import a CSV file to Jira Cloud, we're unable to proceed with the import if the file contains Icelandic characters and the External System Import throws the error:
"The CSV file you uploaded contains non-ASCII characters. Make sure to set the right encoding."
Steps to Reproduce
- Get a CSV file with Icelandic characters
- Go to Jira External System Import, and select the file
Expected Results
File is selected, and we can proceed with no problems, and map the fields.
Actual Results
The error below is caused during the file upload.
We can click Next, but an error is thrown and we can't proceed with the Import
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
