Issue Summary
While reordering sub-tasks within a Parent Issue, and subsequently attempting to create a new Sub-Task, the ordering visually reverses to the previous state.
This gives the impression that the reordering changes haven't been saved. Please refer to the following screen recording for a better understanding of this issue:
Sub-task reordering inconsistencies
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to an existing issue with multiple sub-tasks
- Re-order one or more sub-tasks
- Click the + button to add a new inline issue and watch what happens
- Notice that the sub-tasks seem to revert back to their previous order
Expected Results
The reordering should not visually return to the previous state when trying to create a new Sub-Task.
Actual Results
Right after reordering the sub-tasks, they will return to the previous order when trying to create a new one.
Workaround
Refreshing the page after reordering Sub-Tasks will prevent the issue from being experienced.
