Links in a transition screen not opening in a new Tab

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a custom field of type Message Custom Field (for edit)
2. Set a link as a default value.
3. Add this field to the issue view and transition(workflow) screen.
4. From the issue view, click on the link, the link opens up in a new tab as expected.
5. transition the issue > At the transition screen, click on the link

Expected Results

Link to open in a new browser Tab

Actual Results

You are redirected to the link (opens on the same browser Tab)

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
